These quality mooring whips act as a spring, helping to maintain your boat a safe distance from your dock. Helping to eliminate possible impact damage to your boat and your dock. Damage may be caused by wakes from passing boats, tide changes or wind. Basically, all solid fiberglass poles with the same dimensions have the same resistance. In fact, the longer the poles the less resistance. Our 14' (2-7') x 1" standard length poles were designed for maximum strength at the ultimate appropriate length, helping to protect boats up to 40'. Our poles are solid linear type pultrusion fiberglass UV protected, made specifically with superior resiliency for this application.
